The Crumplebottoms are the purveyors of etiquette and decency in Santo Bellagio. If you want to make it in SBC society, Agnes Crumplebottom’s bottom is the one you need to kiss. Many sims fear her yet her family is one of the most respected in town. Don’t. F*ck. With. The Crumplebottoms!

Agnes Crumplebottom
Miss Crumplebottom is the epitome of good breeding and decency. She has written many books on etiquette and even has a weekly advice column in The Santo Bellagio County Register called “Miss Crumplebottom’s Guide to Excruciatingly Correct Behavior.” Most citizens of Santo Bellagio though, merely see her as the evil old bat that screams at them if they have any public displays of affection. Some people think she’s so mean and uptight because she lost the love of her life on her honeymoon. What they do not know is that she was forced into marrying Erik Darling to please her family and to secretly hide her torrid affair with Frida Goth. Erik‘s death was ruled an accident… but was it really? The only good thing that came from that awful night was the arrival of her only child nine months later, Declan.  

Declan Crumplebottom
Declan Crumplebottom is a mama’s boy and proud of it. He would rather his mother do everything for him instead of actually getting a job. And, truthfully, he never will need to have a job. The majority of the Crumplebottom fortune is his once his mother passes. But he doesn’t want to think about that. How will he ever be able to take care of himself if mother isn’t there?

Ezra Crumplebottom
Ezra is the youngest of the Crumplebottom siblings. As a Simlish professor at All Saints University, Ezra‘s world is surrounded by books and he would have it no other way. He adopted his daughter, Emily, when it became clear he would not have a child in the conventional way. Well, no child that he could actually claim as his, anyways. His heart still belongs to Beatrix Hoobastank, but since he found out that she was having affairs with other men and considering she was his maid at the time, Ezra couldn’t bring himself to marry her. He still thinks of her from time to time and wonders if one of her children is really his as well.

Emily Crumplebottom
Being an adopted child, Emily has no claim to the Crumplebottom fortune, at least that’s what Aunt Agnes keeps telling her over and over. Unlike the others in the family, however, she doesn’t really care. Emily has a degree in Simlish from ASU and currently works in the Santo Bellagio County Library (which was originally founded by her father, Ezra). What she really wants to do is go out and be an adventurer and find new worlds. Instead she’s stuck in the library because that’s a job a “respectable young woman of her stature” would have while she’s paraded around losers of “equal standing” who are only interested in her money.

Notes: I didn’t want Agnes to be a widow and not have any children so I gave her Declan. Emily comes from the librarian in MySims, Elmira Clamp. Cornelia Goth is Agnes and Ezra’s older sister.

Credits: Agnes is an extracted version of Mrs. Crumplebottom (not Agnes Crumplebottom found in the Goth family tree) that someone made into a playable sim. I’ve been searching for the creator/download and can’t seem to find it. I didn’t use the real Agnes because Mrs. Crumplebottom is so much cuter with minor editing. Ezra is gender swapped Cornelia Goth. Declan and Emily are downloaded sims, but I don’t know where from. If they look familiar just let me know.
