“Rock Out With Your Coffee Out”

Saturday, Day 6
Kendrick Troubadour – resident heart-breaker, newspaper thief, and musician wakes up late in the day and starts banging on his drum. His goal: to max out his music enthusiasm to open the Music career.
Well done Kendrick! You are now officially a musician!
Kendrick keeps banging away and receives another creativity point.
With a new career Kendrick will also get his own business!
Kendrick wants to celebrate his new career (and new business) so he calls up his best girl mail carrier Brodie Mason and asks her out on a date.
Being the non-cooking cheapskate that he is Kendrick busts out the finest insta-meal for the occasion.
Brodie’s not that impressed.
But we are talking about Kendrick “Smooth-Talking” Troubadour. A simple rose makes Brodie forget all about her nasty meal.
Even though it goes against all of his Romance Sim ways, Kendrick knows that Brodie is the right girl for him. He doesn’t want to get married or anything but he also doesn’t want to lose her like he lost Minka.
Brodie however wants a more permanent relationship.
Sunday, Day 7
Brodie rises early and heads home, presumably to take care of their daughter Aria.
But first she picks long stemmed roses to give to her man.
Kendrick finally wakes up (he sure does live up to his Night-owl trait) and heads downstairs for brunch.
Kendrick really wanted to open up a bar for his first business but the Welcome Wagon wouldn’t allow a bar on the mainland. They voted for a coffee house instead. Architect Fitz Biltmore built a nice little cafe for Kendrick next door to Connor Firestone‘s auto repair shop.
Since it’s his day off, Kendrick heads down to his newly built coffee house which he names The Troubadour Cafe.
But first can I just show you this? He fears falling out of love with Minka ;_;
The Troubadour Cafe is located next door to Oceanside Customs on Biltmore Highway. It serves the finest island-grown coffee in Oceanside.
The best part of the coffee house, according to Kendrick, is the stage where he can sing, play guitar or drums, and recite poetry to his adoring fans.
Kendrick’s first order of business — melting faces!
Firefighter Sadie Biltmore and mechanic Connor Firestone quickly pick out their favorite blends and are Kendrick’s first customers.
Brodie shows up to sing a little ditty. Kendrick loves listening to Brodie sing.
Kendrick gets the bright idea that maybe Brodie can help him around the shop. That way, on their down time, they can also perform on stage together!
Kendrick assigns Brodie to barista. Brodie is more than happy to help Kendrick out. Now she gets to spend even more time with him.
Kendrick resumes rocking out status.
Vivian: Can I have a one ounce sugar-free, non fat Simicano hold the foam?
Brodie: *eyes glaze over*
Brodie: 20 Simoleons…
Over-priced coffee definitely satisfies Vivian Landgraab‘s snootiness meter.
Kendrick sees his ex Minka’s new love interest Achilles Brook struggling to find the perfect bag of coffee to bring home and heads outside to help him out. Kendrick doesn’t hold any ill will towards Achilles. He and Minka were already dunzo long before Achilles came around.
After scarfing down her Simicano, Vivian tries her hand at poetry…
Vivian: Oh I am not another pretty face. If you get out of line I will put you in our place…
Vivian: If you refuse to pay your taxes, into prison goes your asses.
Customers are buying bags of coffee like crazy! Kendrick might actually have a profitable business soon.
Kendrick assigns Brodie to the register for a bit so she can get cashiering experience as well.
While Kendrick restocks the rapidly diminishing supply of coffee.
Kendrick closes for the night and gives his lady love a warm thank you kiss for helping him out.
While Kendrick’s still walking home, Brodie sneaks in and leaves a 44″ TV for him! MARRY THIS GIRL!!
Monday, Day 8
Kendrick pays his taxes before heading to work.
Yay! Kendrick receives a promotion on his first day!
In order to tune those pianos correctly Kendrick must learn the mechanical aspect of the instrument. He studies all night long.
Then it’s bed time.
Tuesday, Day 9
Another day off for Kendrick…
So he heads back to The Troubadour Cafe!
And back to the drums!
His sister Matisse‘s new boyfriend Kent Healey strolls into the cafe looking lost. Dude, there’s coffee everywhere. Pick one!
Kendrick is great schmoozing with the customers. He’s earning loyalty stars and best friends by the truckload.
But he still needs to be faster at ringing up customers.
Yay another perk!
Kendrick has at least one fangirl in driver Noelee Andrews.
Yeah, you better watch that one Brodie.
Minka Yomoshoto stops by but seems too afraid to enter Kendrick’s cafe even though she really wants a bag of vanilla roast.
Soon it’s closing time at the cafe.
Kendrick restocks…
and walks home in the rain.
Way to go Kendrick!
Back at home Kendrick invites Brodie over again. After spending all this time together this week, Kendrick wants to take their relationship to the next level. He even tries to cook her a homemade meal.
You know how that went…
At dinner Kendrick asks her to move in with him!
Of course Brodie says yes!
Aria: Hello? Hello? Someone? Anyone?!
Don’t worry baby girl. After some remodeling and merging of Brodie’s stuff with Kendrick’s, Aria is rescued and placed in her crib in her new room.
And Mom and Dad check out their new room downstairs…
*chimes*
