The Sisters of the Order of the Gray Woman invite you to Mass. Don’t forget to bring a donation to the Church.
Exterior
Front View
Our Lady of Plumbobs Church is owned by the religious Sisters of the Order of the Gray Woman. Their Agent of the Watcher (or patron saint) is the Gray Woman of SimCity. The Order’s primary focus is the health and care of children and food.
In the front of the Church is a fountain of the unnamed Warrior of the Watcher. The fountain contains water sanctified by the High Priestess, Sister Ella Yalden. The Proclamation board holds ancient scriptures pertaining to the teaching of the Watcher and announcements to try to entice new members.
Side View
Back View
The shiny gold bell in the bell tower rings before mass.
The sidewalk has a serene place to wait for your ride.
Interior
The Vestibule. You know you’re in a Sims’ church when a giant Eye of the Watcher welcomes you.
*This is where the ticket machine is hidden*
The Pulpit and Main Hall
Sister Ella leads mass from her pulpit flanked by baptismal fonts. Above her on the stage is a statue of an Agent of the Watcher.
Statues of the Gray Woman greet visitors from their alcoves.
Under a painting of the Gray Woman lies an ancient tablet from the Watcher.
At the shrine, members can wish for good fortune from the Gray Woman.
The Observation Deck
The upper floor of the church houses more pews and the organ.
The three other patron saints, or Agents of the Watcher, the Therapist, the Social Bunny, and the Grim Reaper, in their human form.
The Basement
The dining area can convert to a reception area for weddings.
The small kitchen in the dining room turns into a soup kitchen when needed.
The Sunday school room is where Sister Lou Ann instructs the children in the word of the Watcher away from the adults.
Sister Ella’s office holds all the literature for the faith. This room is locked to visitors.
Behind the door in Sister Ella’s office lies a small closet containing a shrine that doesn’t look as wholesome as the rest of the church…
