Super Mega Uber Hood: The House of Fallen Trees

The Tricou family invites you in.

Exterior

Welcome to the House of Fallen Trees, home to the Tricou Academy, a private prep school for youngsters of the “nocturnal” persuasion.

The House of Fallen Trees is situated in the Vampire Quarter of Downtown. Only the bold and reckless would travel here during the night.

You know you’re in the Vampire Quarter when you see scary vampire crests on the gates.

The Greenhouse

In the greenhouse, Jennicor Tricou grows plasma fruit for the vampires to nosh on. The Tricous try NOT to feed on humans.

Backyard

The Tricou Academy has a fountain in memory of the Great Maker, Count Vladislaus Straud. Jon Smith Tricou, originally sired by Vlad, was once part of the great Straud Vampire Clan of Forgotten Hollow until an unfortunate “accident” befell the whole clan. Smith was the only survivor…

Vampires need exercise too! The basketball court was built after Loren moved in as it is his favorite sport.

The side yard has a lonely swinging tire hanging from a leafless tree.

Basement

The eight Tricou vampires spend their days secluded in their own vampire catacombs in the basement. Under the stairs lie the bones of the Tricous’ enemies and/or victims. I wonder who is trapped in the bat cage?

Each of the Tricou teens sleep in the nooks guarded by gargoyle protectors.

Jennicor and Smith sleep in the center on a raised pedestal.

Dead ivy creeps down the basement’s walls.

Vlad will never be forgotten.

First Floor

The Entryway

The front entry welcomes visitors to the lair.

The portrait of Jennicor Tricou, matriarch of the Tricou clan, greets you with a cool gaze.

The Parlor

The Tricous’ daughters, Jennail and Nylissit, and their spouses, Kvornan and Kiernan, are featured on the opposite wall.

The Kitchen

Two suits of armor guard the never used kitchen.

The galley style kitchen is more for the staff to use to feed the human guests.

The Side Entrance

 

The side entryway holds portraits of Smith and Vlad. I wonder who is in the urn…

The Dining Room

The dining room is more for meetings instead of dining.

The Powder Room

Second Floor

The Second Story Sitting Room

The Sitting Room holds a very modern phonograph.

The Art Room

Smith is a master artist and loves teaching the students his craft.

The Primary Suite

This suite is mainly for “relaxing.”

The Third Floor

Patrick enjoys searching the stars with his antique telescope.

The Nursery

A lone bassinet awaits a new Tricou…

The Music Room

Playing an instrument is a staple of any vampire’s repertoire.

Jennicor’s Entomology Room

Jennicor loves bugs, especially butterflies. This room holds her favorites.

The Tricou Academy

The attic is where the teens learn the necessities of life.

The back wall has paintings of great vampires throughout history.

The Headmaster’s Office

Jennicor is the headmistress of Tricou Academy. This is her office.
